Need volunteers at your agency or just have a general project idea?
Here are the types of projects our volunteers serve on:
During the school year, we have ongoing service opportunities during after school hours. These projects are designed for volunteers who want to make a meaningful, long-term connection with the agency.
We like to offer as many service opportunities to our youth as possible. We often have large-scale volunteer projects that align with national volunteer days. For example MLK Day, Global Youth Service Day and the 9/11 Day Of Service. These are set up the in the same format as a regular project with an icebreaker and a service-learning lesson.
SUMMER OF SERVICE
As an agency, you can host ten or twenty youth for a week of service-learning at your agency. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only accomplish a lot of work, but to introduce local youth to your work.
Most Saturdays throughout the year, we sponsor multiple projects for 11-18 year olds. Typical Saturday projects are 9:00AM to noon or 10:00AM to 1:00PM, but we can adjust hours depending on the project. For projects lasting more than three hours, we ask that snack and beverage be provided for our volunteers and staff.
